Summer Layout with Prairie Hill

Yesterday we featured Cassie's fall card that was created using the Prairie Hill collection by Pink Paislee.  Today I am showcasing that same line on a summer themed scrapbook page.  The thing I love about these papers are the colors because they leave you with so many options when creating.

The three strips (Kite Strings, Flight Pattern and Hilltop) paired with the Aqua cardstock by Bazzill Basics was the look I wanted for this page.  The title, with each letter cut from one of the three papers, was made using the Cricut cartridge Alphalicious.  To accentuate the circles in the Kite String paper, I made flags and used brads to add dimension.  The ribbon across the bottom was something I had in my stash and also added extra dimension or texture.  To complete the page, I cut out different sized circle to make a flower design.  I attached a brad in the middle and the ribbon as the leaves.

The Memory Nest would love to hear what you think about this design.  All papers for this collection are double sided and leave you with many options when creating cards are pages.
Happy Election Day!
Leslie

  1. I love this design. I have never used washi tape, in fact, I have never even seen it before. I have taken a long break from scrapbooking and I need to get back into it. Great blog.
